Project Overview
The Lele India Web Store was built as the primary web front-end to complement the mobile app. Designed to load under 1.2 seconds, it acts as a lightweight, zero-install ordering platform optimized heavily for mobile viewports, SEO, and quick checkouts.
The Challenge
Creating a web store that serves as a low-friction entry point for users, meaning it must load instantly even on low-tier mobile devices with slow networks, while maintaining a rich, app-like interactive feel.
Our Engineering Approach
Implemented Next.js App Router with React Server Components (RSC) to render static content on the server. Used image optimization and tailwind purging to drop initial bundle sizes. Integrated WhatsApp web APIs for alternative order updates.
